About Me
I’m a husband and father who grew up in northeast Louisiana and later returned to the area to practice counseling. Before becoming a counselor, I spent time working in education as a teacher and high school administrator, experiences that shaped how I understand stress, responsibility, and the pressures people often carry quietly.
I earned my undergraduate degree from Louisiana State University and completed my graduate training in counseling at LSU as well. My background in education continues to inform my work with teens and adults, especially those navigating transitions, identity questions, and the demands of family and work life.
My faith is an important part of who I am, and for clients who desire it, I am open to integrating faith, spirituality, and values into the counseling process in a thoughtful and respectful way. I also work comfortably with clients from a wide range of backgrounds and beliefs.
At the core of my work is the belief that therapy is a relational process—one person sitting with another—helping make sense of their story and move toward clarity, connection, and purpose.
